Misako Aoki's Contest

I decided to join Misako Aoki's international Lolita contest, and messaged LAPhotoNet for a photoshoot. He agreed, and kindly asked if I'd like to be part of his "Suspended Elegance - Floating Lolitas" shoot. I was happy to be part of this project as I'd seen my friend do it and she was BEAUTIFUL as always. Anyways, here are the photos from the shoot (here is a link to LAPhotoNet's floating Lolitas gallery: http://www.laphotonet.com/p112487440):

Nelson and his wife did a very good job making me float. It was difficult but magical, and I'm so honored to be part of this project. I also love my dress, which is from BTSSB. The mini crown was handmade. In case you'd like to know, the teddy bear's name is Rupert. ^^

Asian American Expo 2012

So I went to the Asian American Expo with my sister and friend. Personally, they should've called it "Chinese American Expo" because there were mostly Chinese people there, and most vendors assumed we could speak Chinese.
There were lots of free food samples! And we got to take free photos (seen above). We took great advantage of trying to look as stupid as possible. We also got free traffic cone t-shirts for dressing in Asian attire.
We got to see dolldelight's fashion show. It was all right. If you like her stuff, anyway. They also showed cosplayers, and um...they were all right.
The most important thing at the expo were the free food samples, and for sure we will come back next year. And maybe in cosplay. Not sure yet.
